This FRIDAY is FREE Family Movie Night 🍿 in downtown Effingham on the Courthouse Square. After this weeks horrible tornado, spending a few hours with our community and family members might provide a little healing that we all need. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and watch “The Goonies” on the giant projection screen. This movie 🎥 will provide some laughs that we all need right now! We will see you all downtown on Friday night! 

We appreciate all of you who reached out to check on our safety after last nights horrific Tornado that passed through Effingham, Illinois, and many other surrounding communities. We have a pretty good and long aerial view from our building, and we watched the low riding clouds form into a giant tornado in real time and snapped this photo. We were lucky the tornado passed just to the north of our downtown area and we are safe and suffered no damage.

Unfortunately, many others in our community suffered quite a bit of damage to their homes and businesses. We were devastated to see that our friends at Mid America Motorworks took a direct hit. We can't even begin to imagine what it would feel like to lose what you have spent 50+ years building from scratch. Mike and his family have built a Disneyland for corvette enthusiasts, and they bring in visitors from all over the world to our little hometown of Effingham. Mike has been a role model to us and we have tried to replicate what he has accomplished - making our store a must stop destination for people all over the Country.

Most of us entrepreneurs have the mindset that we would stand in front of a Tornado and try to stop it to save what we have built. That is how much we love what we do, and how much we love our businesses. Please pray for the Yager family as they recover from this, and please pray for everyone else who suffered a bad loss last night.

Whiskey Bear Productions has reached out to the BCC to be part of their upcoming TV Documentary about trading cards.

We have conducted several meetings with them, and some of our customers have also participated in Zoom calls with their team, sharing their incredible life stories that center around this wonderful hobby of collecting trading cards.

Yes, we have 20,000+ Pokemon cards for just 10 cents each! These are currently the "busiest" boxes in our showroom! Come and search for that hidden gem or favorite character for your collection!

We sent our 2 head buyers out the door for a little Tuesday road trip. All of the cash is gone, but they came home with a bunch of unopened boxes, slabs, cards, and some empty sacks from Chick-fil-A.

Before you ask, this was a one time deal as we no longer do house calls. If you have items to sell, send us a direct message with item descriptions and photos if possible. If you have items we are interested in, we will give you instructions on what to do next.
