Effingham Mayor Mike Schutzbach declares November 1, 2025, National Family Literacy Day.
Members of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution joined Mayor Schutzbach in support of family literacy programs. DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education for children and adults.
