Saying "you're not alone" is easy; actually feeling it is a different story. When things get heavy, it genuinely feels like everyone else is functioning perfectly while you’re stuck trying to figure it out in the dark.

We built Beacon 82 to bridge that exact gap. We aren't here to offer toxic positivity or easy fixes. We’re just here to make sure that when you’re ready to look for resources, support, or a community that gets it, you don't have to look very far.

If you're going through it right now, the link is below. No pressure, just resources.

🚨 Repeat Offender Arrested: Michael Plewa

Former Zionsville West Middle School teacher Michael Plewa (43) is back in the Boone County Jail following an undercover sting. Plewa, a registered s*x offender, was previously convicted in 2016 for child seduction involving a student.

The Sting: Police say Plewa engaged in explicit chats with an officer posing as a 14-year-old girl, directing her to perform s*xual acts.

The Intent: Arrested at Abner Longley Park, Plewa allegedly admitted he went there to witness the minor engage in s*xual activity.

Community Alert: Reports indicate Plewa has been active on dating apps without disclosing his status as a s*x offender.
