Senior 2026 session with Bella was one for the books! The cold temperatures and crazy wind Last Sunday tried their best to steal the show, but Bella had other plans. Instead of rescheduling, she showed up with determination, confidence, and a smile that outshined the weather.

She absolutely braved the elements, and the result was stunning. Tough weather creates strong moments-and Bella proved she's as beautiful on the inside as she is in front of the camera.

Thank you, Bella, for trusting me to capture this special season of your life. It was an honor to do your senior pictures. Congratulations, and best wishes to you as you step into the next chapter of your life!

One of my absolute favorite events in Effingham is the Six String Summit at the Effingham Performance Center. Every February a lineup of incredibly talented local musicians comes together to showcase their skills, and in my opinion, it’s one of the BEST events our town has to offer!
This year was extra special because not only did I get to support it — I also had the honor of photographing the show. Being the guitar freak that I am made it even more fun! And yes… I walked away with a new favorite t-shirt too. 😄
I look forward to this event every year, and if you’ve never been, you’re missing out on some serious talent right here in our community.

I know I say this every year but I am truly blessed to have return clients, especially those that turn into friends. I have photographed the Bierman family since Natalie's senior pictures and I love watching the family grow. Where the love is in their hearts, there have been heartaches too. We miss Tim's presence but he is always with them. Love this family so much.

This is my day today. I am caught up with editing after this session and yes, I still do my commisioned charcoal portraits AND photography so I always have fun ways to fill my time...maybe I could find time to run a dust cloth across my desk, lol!
