Welcome to our 3rd edition of Transformation Sunday where we highlight a unique furniture piece that has been transformed by Restore Decor volunteers - or in this case, something that was completely reinvented!

When my husband & I first toured the location at 500 E. Vandalia Street Edwardsville, we both felt like it was the perfect new home for Restore Decor! Lots of negotiating & prayers have led us to where we’re are today!

One thing I wasn’t thrilled about was the glass sales counter. It had lots of great space for storage, but it really didn’t feel like Restore Decor.

My husband assured me he could fix that - and he did! The old glass sales counter is still there underneath, providing lots of hidden storage. But the structure has been clad with wood & trim molding, then coated with our signature Midnight Bayou paint. What a transformation! Great job, Erik Adams!

Lots of sold items. Lots of happy customers. An unexpected bird in the shop who was safely rescued. Two wonderful young men helping unload donations & load sold items.

That all adds up to one fantastic day! 🥰

The sun came out and we got some furniture delivered from Edwardsville to Alton! Thanks Marsha, Eden Church and Restore Decor for the donations, and thanks to Ed and his team for the heavy lifting!

If you missed our grand opening last Saturday - or you’re just ready to come back for more fun, beautiful furniture & great deals - WE’RE READY FOR YOU!

Our new shop at 500 E. Vandalia St Edwardsville, next to R.P. Lumber Company, is open Saturday 10am-1pm for sales and donations ALL under one roof!

We have furniture & accessories for sale, raffle items, new Restore Decor merchandise & a beautiful new space to share with you! And the very best part is that we are volunteer-based and 100% of our net proceeds help those in need in our community! (Be sure to take a peek at our Community Impact tree showing more than $500,000 donated to families in need & nonprofits focused on serving those in need!)

Items are first come first served when we open Saturday at 10am. We don’t hold or pre-sell, but you can ask questions about pricing & dimensions so you’re ready when we open!
