The 2021 Masters Tournament art print from the golf match in Augusta, Georgia. Drymounted first, then floated on top of a snowdrift white mat board. Designed with a classic mahogany profile, white acrylic spacers, and finished with conservation UV glass. The classical frame and contemporary floated display perfectly highlight this PGA themed print. ⛳️ 🏌️‍♂️

Military shadowbox display for this woman's service in the now defunct branch of the army, the Women's Army Corps.

Formed originally as an auxiliary unit, the WAC organization was started in July, 1943, it was disbanned on October 20, 1978. The official branch colors were mosstone green x old gold piping, so all the badges and pins were mounted with olive green x metallic gold double reverse mat baord reveals. This brave lady was stationed in Thailand and some of the insignias are interesting. Like the 100 Missions on a Baht Bus, which she said refers to basically a pickup truck with benches nailed to the bed. The company guidon flag was also added, which shows off the official Pallas Athene insignia. A parchment linen mat board used for the top mat layer and a Komodo black wooden frame for contrast (and to match her some Thailand prints that we recently designed with). Finshed with black spacers and conservation UV glass.

This was one of the coolest military shadowboxes I've ever designed for. This was a superb way to preserve and display such an important part of history! 🪖 🇹🇭 🌍

Four Revolutionary War artifacts found at the site of the Battle Fort Ticonderoga. Each item was designed eclectically with different fabric mat board backgrounds and different frame profiles. No glazing.

The first image is of 2 flint strikers (cabernet red suede x matte black floater), the second is of 3 flint-lock pistol balls (lagoon blue x discontinued rustic frame), the third is of a crown point knife (blaze red suede x discontinued classical frame) and the last is of a fancy little hook (bluestone linen x matte black floater. All the items were secured down and assembled with rare earth magnets, except for the little ammo balls, which were sink-mounted into the mat board.

These turned out super classy, especially the choice of the red and blue mats. They sort of mimic the old fabric material used for the flag. What better way to display these important historical artifacts. 🇺🇸🪝🗡🧲

Old Lincoln-Douglass debate poster with matte black frame. Of course, we used conservation UV glass, acid-free foam backing, and spacers to ensure the preservation of this collector's vintage political signage from 1858. 📜

University of Utah hockey jersey shadowbox with all black frame, mat board background, and conservation UV glass. A very classical display of this Utes' captian jersey. 🏒

Black and white ink sketch portrait of Frank Zappa. Drymounted, then framed with a black beveled profile and finished with conservation UV glass. The bold contouring of the black frame was a very fitting display for this, equally bold musical legend! 🥁 🎹 🎶

A collection of vintage Formula 1 racing prints! Each print is designed with different textured mats and framed with matching distressed white profiles. All finished with acrylic, except the biggest prints on the last slide, which was glazed using museum glass. A very classy display for these retro F1 prints! 🏎 🏁
