The Electrek Formula Sun Grand Prix has come to an end. We worked hard and put in our best effort during 4 days of scrutineering and 3 days of race, and are extremely proud of how far we came. We passed with all greens and got on the track the first day of FSGP! Orion drove a total of 508.2 miles over the course of FSGP and American Solar Challenge. Although we would love to continue alongside the other teams, the experience we gained has been worth it! This was a valuable opportunity for us and we are excited for FSGP 2027!

We completed day 2 of Electrek Formula Sun Grand Prix! We completed 47 laps for 146.7 miles of the 300-mile, 2 day American Solar Challenge qualification requirement. That leaves us with 154.3 miles to complete, which is equivalent to approximately 50 laps. We’re excited to finish this race strong!
