Fun Fact Friday!
Have you ever wondered why your dentist or hygienist tell you to help your kids brush until the age of 8? This is why.
"Look at the differences between a typical preschool child’s hand (left) and a typical 7 year old (right)." Want to know why kids under 8 need assistance when brushing? "This is why! Their hands are still developing and are not fully formed." They haven't developed the dexterity to do so because they haven't fully developed.
So please don't forget help your kiddos brush they can't do a great job without you.
