We took this project from bare studs and drywall dust to a bespoke coastal sanctuary featuring custom sage green cabinetry, warm natural light, and floor-to-ceiling water views. 🌊🩵
Tile layout changes everything!
Instead of a standard running bond, we used a vertical stacked pattern with alternating blocks. Rotating the direction creates a subtle grid that gives an accessible white subway tile an architectural, custom feel.
The vertical orientation draws the eye up to expand the height of the shower, while the textured Zellige finish catches the light without needing bold colors or busy patterns.

We worked closely with our clients every step of the way to redesign and remodel their Seattle basement-bringing their vision to life while keeping the entire project strictly within their target budget.
We elevated the kitchen area with custom butcher block countertops and clean white cabinetry, created a smart, space-saving laundry nook, and laid new flooring. Every corner got a fresh start, creating a cozy, welcoming space. And that renovated bathroom with marble scalloped fish-scale tile and brushed brass accents? Simply stunning.

Drywall is officially DONE—and yes, this basement ADU actually has a water view! 🌊
We took a quick walkthrough of our latest Magnolia project today, and wrapping up the drywall phase is always a favorite milestone. But what makes this basement conversion extra special? We carefully designed and framed the layout to capture that gorgeous Puget Sound view right through the main doors.
