I still think about this woman. When she tipped me, I wanted her to keep it but didn’t get the words out as she left in a hurry. My work neighbor wandered over afterwards and asked me if I was alright. I said yes, and told her what happened. Neighbor said, it’s a good thing you didn’t have her keep the gratuity. She wanted you to have it and you made her feel normal for a few minutes without judgment. ❤️‍🩹
