The concert begins with Edward Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No. 3 and concludes with the lush Langsam movement from Gustav Mahler’s Third Symphony. Also on the program is the Overture to the opera, Zampa, by 19th century French composer, Ferdinand Hérold, a delightful light classical work.
