Cascade Swim Club

That’s a wrap on the September Shakeout and our first meet of the season!

Thank you to all of our swimmers, families, coaches, volunteers, and officials who helped make the meet such a great start to the season. It was especially exciting to see so many new swimmers and families experiencing their first meet with CSC.

We hope everyone had a great time racing, cheering, volunteering, and being part of the team. We’re just getting started, and we hope to see you at many more meets this season!

FAR WESTERNS | CONCORD, CA

Five Cascade swimmers represented CSC at Far Western Championships in Concord, California, with top finishes, finals swims, personal bests, and a team record.

Clay Harper put together an incredible meet, dropping time in every event and earning top finishes in the backstroke and distance freestyle. Jed Cook swam a 32.62 a personal best in the 50M Breast to break his own Cascade team record and place 7th. Crawford Brunjes with a best time placing 6th in the 800 Free with a 9:28.39. Audrey Loudon battled through injury to place 4th in the 1500 Free and 8th in the 800 Free. Violet Perry again winning a swim-off in the 100 Back to advance to the final.

A fun highlight from the week Violet & Clay designed and hand-colored custom Cascade shirts that quickly became a favorite around the pool. A great week of racing and representing CSC!
