Blue Dragon Custom

We are coming to the Christmas shopping season. I know Amazon is temping but I urge you to shop local. I promise it’s worth it. I can do that custom tshirt, tumbler, coffee mug, vinyl decal, stickers, and custom greeting cards. I specialize in resin chessboards and custom pieces, but I partner with other small business’ to make dreams realities.

I was given the opportunity to create a very unique chessboard. It has now been gifted so I can post pictures. This boated represents the live action board that you can see for 1 more weekend out at the Oklahoma Renaissance faire. It has 32 different pieces the bottoms mark which side they go on. The board is double poured with two designs then topped with resin. It has a glass etch style square. This is a commemorative board for Red Griffin Productions 25th year. All of the members also got their piece as a take home token of the year.

Busy into faire season and less time creating but creativity never stops. New things being included for chess pieces. Maybe an Alice in wonderland themed board is coming.

I bring you the completed fire and ice board. This is a 12x12 wood board with full size resin pieces. It has a glass etch illusion for squares to not deter from the paint pour base. This was a commissioned piece so it is already sold and as the nature of my pieces all of my boards are one of a kind. Something similar would run 200$

Front start to finish I bring you the pieces of the Fire and Ice board. This was a new set of molds and I am so excited with the results.

This set turned out so much better 2nd time round. Still a few imperfections that I’m going to have to do some research to figure out how to deal with.

Round two of the new mold and the fire and ice board is under its first layer of resin. Now to decide on color(s) for the squares.

New full size chess molds come with a learning curve. This was my first trial with them and was mostly to figure out how much resin a set would require so I could set pricing for the bigger size but as you can see some lost thier heads.
