I am super excited for this announcement!

Over the summer I will be moving my operation to a dedicated retail storefront just a few hundred feet away from my current location!

Opening this August/September, a 1300 square foot service and retail space with an expanding selection of hockey equipment, accessories, apparel, and a particular focus on beginner and intermediate figure skating!

In the upcoming weeks, keep an eye out for posts of construction progress, new brands and product arrivals, as well as future expansion of available services!

With the change, you will continue to receive the same excellent quality of service that you have come to expect, but in a more convenient “shopping” experience…and no more appointments!!

Do I criticize automated machines for being sub par? Do I bust on and for charging people $$$$ for doing a poor job? Sure I do, and deservedly so!

However it ALWAYS comes down to the operator 100% of the time!

Case in point: local pro shop in an ice arena with a manual machine and an operator who doesn't know what they are doing, or doesn't care, but most likely both.

Not all skate sharpening is created equal!!

Further proof that skill, experience, care, and pride will ALWAYS outperform the budget priced automated "machines", which has none of those qualities...

Even after just a single time on a SparX, this new set of steel has toe and heel picks, not to mention inperceptable hollow, and grainy/rough finish, and hardly any edges.

Don't belive the hype, quality > "convenience" ... ALWAYS!
