JGN Lux Watch

A classic example of German watchmaking! 42mm RG manual wind. I always love a power reserve on a manual wind. Movement 58 from GO features Glasshutte ribbing on the 3/4 plate, engraved balance c**k, and decorated winding wheel. One of the top five for decorated movements!

I have always been a big fan of Blancpain and especially the Villeret collection, not to mention moonphase watches! This example features a complete calendar with moonphase (note face on moon) with 8 day power reserve. Case is 42mm in PT (limited to 75 pieces in PT), Also, movement #6639 with a decorated rotor.

Monopusher Chronographe. 39mm this example is in white gold. There are 58 pieces in WG and 58 in RG. It is a throwback to the 1928 Minerva Vintage Pulsographe, the Doctors Watch. Movement is MB M13.21 featuring a column wheel chronograph, 18,000 vph, and 60 hours power reserve.

Very Rare AL&S Lange 1 at auction in Geneva. A SS Lange 1!

We would like to bring to your attention a very rare sight, the LANGE 1 in steel. This piece will be on auction at CHRISTIES in Geneva on Sunday, 13th May 2013, around 12 pm. The auction preview will be possible from 10th to 12th May in the hotel “Bergues” in Geneva.



More details:

- The LANGE 1 in steel has lot no. 105

- Case number 114404, movement number 1014

- Ref. 101.026 / steel case and steel buckle (engraved with “Lange”) and blued steel hands

- The steel LANGE 1 has no limitation and was part of a very small edition of steel pieces, exclusively offered by Lange in the early years after 1994

- All functions and movement components are corresponding to the standard LANGE 1, cal. L901.0

- The watch is estimated with USD 53,000 – 110,000 / EUR 42,000 - 83,000 / CHF 50,000 to 100,000

- Additionally offered: a handwritten “Proof of origin”, signed by Walter Lange

- For the moment there will be no other Lange-watches on auction at this occasion
