Hello everyone!

My name is Richa and I am from Uttar Pradesh,India live in New Jersey.
I’m in 40’s and mother of teenager boy. I used to do water color paintings in my childhood.Few years back I made few oil paintings for my home to decorate the house ,later started bit of sketching as hobby which gradually started giving me soulful happiness.Living with joint family & few years in customer service job barely time to have practice,but continued to do as hobby .In pandemic started practicing my work more complex in nature . Now I started practice on regular basis .

I believe happiness is all about doing simple & small things . My childhood was spent in rural India Back then life was beautiful while having limited resources.

Through my artwork I am sharing same kind of happiness & the simplicity of people in the streets,people’s faith,traditions, cultures,history & architecture.

Besides sketching I love spending time in nature ,baking,old Hindi songs &movies .
My love for art,craft & Indian textile is well known & treasure some beautiful handicrafts from India .
Loves wearing sarees & finds no reason to wearing them without worrying about what people think about me .

Meghwal ,as considered by all , are modest people hailing from the marwar region of Thar dessert.Meghwal womenfolk has its own entity , and is famous as Meghwal Embroidery in Indian Textiles Industry.The Meghwal women are renowned for their exuberantly detailed costumes and jewelry.Married Meghwal women are often spotted wearing gold nose ring,earrings and neckpieces.

pencil:Steadler graphite pencil, 4H,H,2B,4b,6B,8B
Eraser: Electric eraser,tombow mono zero eraser ,pencil eraser, kneaded eraser
Blender: stumps, makeup brush, hard acrylic brush

Mehrangarh fort is one of the largest & most beautiful forts of India, covers an area of 1200 acres built on 122 meters high hill in the outskirts of jodhpur city.it was constructed circa 1459 by Rajput ruler Rao Jodha.it’s palace were built over a period of 500years following the foundation.
