It is a myth that the payment of alimony has anything to do with the collection of Social Security benefits. It is also a myth that a working former spouse’s Social Security will be reduced if their former spouse starts collecting at the same time that they do. Core Responsibilities will include:

- Providing support services to those attorneys in the form of preparing legal communications, and performing administrative work;
- Tracking and maintaining files;
Preparing correspondence;
- Assisting in preparation and filing of pleadings;
- Organizing, maintaining, and tracking incoming and outgoing legal correspondence;
- Answering and directing telephone calls, coordinating attorney schedules;
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance (In-Person, Hours 9am -5pm).
- Requires 3+ years related law office experience
- Experience with MyCase is a plus

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Marrying an individual with children from a prior relationship, does not entitle you to make medical, educational or other important decisions on that child or children’s behalf. Only by creating a legal relationship between yourself and the child (not just their parent), through the process of adoption, would you be allowed to make those decisions.
