Closing in on the hay season, let's see if I can get all my wagons filled in the next few days!

Reaching the end of , a couple of fields left to cut yet. The last couple days have not been great hay drying days either 😅 Would definitely like for the sun to pop out at some point!

Piece of advice for my future self... Do not take an engine apart and wait almost two years to start putting it back together. Luckily I took a bunch of pictures when I took it apart, so hopefully I can put the puzzle back together again!

Had a few busy, but fun days at the fair this week. Weather concerns brought the cows and goat back home today, though. First time any of us have had a hand in showing animals, and I'm not real sure if the kids or Jennifer Muldoon and I learned more this week! Big thanks to Michelle Steinbarger Tobias and Hayley Clark for helping guide us in this adventure, and ellie jean gosser for helping Karlene out Monday night with handling her steer, Honeypots! We couldn't have done it without you guys!

Felt like I was a little late to the party this spring, but is complete here. Well, with the exception of a couple wet spots that was too soggy to pull the planter through. On to hay, spray, and nitrogen!

Most of the ground was in good shape today, but where it was wet, it was WET! Nonetheless, first crop beans are finished, and another field of corn done. Now we see what kind of weather mother nature decides to throw us the next few days.

If I wait til conditions are perfect, I'd probably never get anything done.
