Girl Scout saves dad days after learning CPR with her troop Just days before Vada Carawan’s father suffered a heart attack, the 11-year-old and her Girl Scout troop had learned CPR.

Saving lives, one skill at a time! 🩺💓 Our last BLS class for the month of November was a huge success—empowering heroes to act in critical moments.

Meet our owner/lead instructor. Florence Y. Shogbola, MSN-Ed, RN, brings hands-on experience as an emergency room registered nurse and a nurse educator, shaping her into a highly skilled and dedicated instructor in life-saving techniques. Her extensive ER background gives her firsthand insights into real-life emergency scenarios, enabling her to teach ACLS, BLS, CPR, and PALS with authenticity and depth. Florence’s experience as a nurse educator allows her to translate complex medical concepts into clear, approachable lessons, ensuring her students are well-prepared and confident. As a lead instructor, she combines clinical expertise with an educator’s touch, making her classes both informative and engaging.
