IDEA Toros Team & Family, we hope all are safe from bad weather we experienced last night and morning. After conducting an evaluation of our campus, we have made the decision to resume classes tomorrow Wednesday, June 17, 2026. All student summer programming will continue as scheduled beginning at 7:30am. While our communities continue to deal with the aftermath of the heavy rains aftermath, we ensure we have a safe, comfortable and focused this summer.

Familias de IDEA Toros, esperamos que usted y sus seres queridos estén seguros tras las fuertes lluvias. Tras realizar una evaluación de nuestro campus, hemos decidido reanudar las clases en IDEA Toros el Miércoles 6/17/2026. Todas las operaciones del centro y del campus continuarán según lo previsto, con la entrega de los estudiantes comenzando puntualmente a las 7:30AM. Mientras nuestras comunidades siguen lidiando con las secuelas de las fuertes lluvias, es importante que los estudiantes regresen a la escuela para mantenerse seguros, cómodos y enfocados en el aprendizaje.

Attention IDEA Toros Team & Family, student and staff safety is our top priority. We are continuing to closely monitor weather conditions across the Rio Grande Valley this evening as heavy rain approaches. Our campus will be closed Tuesday, 6/16/2026 and will re-open and operate on a normal schedule on Wednesday, 6/17/2026. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and update staff and families as needed. We encourage you to continue to check IDEA social media pages for more information and updates regarding inclement weather.
