My collector shared that after losing a child, a yellow butterfly began visiting her each summer. it appears near her hydrangeas and lilacs, and over the years it’s become something really special for her family, the kids even excitedly tell her, “your friend is here.”

Getting to turn something this personal and meaningful into a painting was such an honor 🦋
