Kindness and community were on full display at Ebenezer Ridges Child Care.

Thanks to a thoughtful donation from retired nurses Amy Matthys, Louise Elliott, and Jackie Athmann through Thrivent Financial’s Action Team program, children at Ridges received new classroom toys and items to enjoy and explore together.

One little boy proudly showed the toys to his grandpa at pick-up and said, “Ta Da! See grandpa – they got us new toys!”

The generosity didn’t stop there. Two of the women will also be volunteering in the child care program, creating even more opportunities for meaningful intergenerational connection.

We are so grateful for the kindness and care shared with our Ebenezer Ridges community.
