Here are some free events in our community this week — make the most of it!

🥇Gear up for a sports challenge! 🥈

You are officially invited to Park & Recreation Olympic Day, a completely free sports event taking place on October 16 at Edgewood Recreation & Community Center (1980 Brookside Drive, Edgewood).

Registration begins at 2:30 PM, and competition is open to the following age groups:

🥇Ages 5 to 7
🥇Ages 8 to 10
🥇Ages 11 to 13
🥇Ages 14 to 16

This is the perfect opportunity to put your skills to the test with three unique challenges in each sport, all in an environment focused on friendly competition and community spirit. Bring your friends, channel the energy of your favorite anime heroes, and prove you have what it takes to reach the podium!

After the competition, stick around for a free showing of Space Jam: A New Legacy beginning at 6:45 p.m..
