Recognizing Flag Day on June 14

Observed annually on June 14, Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the United States flag by the Second Continental Congress on June 14, 1777.

The day serves as an opportunity to reflect on the history of the American flag and its role as a symbol of the nation. Communities across the country mark the occasion through educational activities, ceremonies, and displays of the flag.

Puyallup School District recognizes Flag Day and the historical significance it represents.
