Happy Tuesday!
Batch cut, batch stitch, repeat. Any guesses as to what I'm working on today?

Today was AB•SO•LUTE•LY WONDERFUL!! The Edgewood Heritage Festival was today and I am feeling blessed beyond measure! Two months ago I had emergent surgery and had to put Hello Country Pumpkin on hold. It's been a long, rough recovery that involves a wound care center, home health nursing, and a machine that I wear 24/7. I wasn't sure if I would have enough inventory, much less have the strength and stamina to man a booth all day at the festival. In addition, the forecast has shown rain for this outdoor event. I really questioned whether or not I should even attempt this. I considered just forfeiting the money I had spent on reserving the space. BUT, thanks to a faithful and loving God, my prayer warriors, and the love, support, and hard work of my amazing family and friends, Lee and I had the most enjoyable, fantastic day. The weather was perfect. My booth was next to my BFF's booth (Twisted Treats of Texas) and near a sweet neighbor. I saw so many of the people I love today - many who drove hours just to see and support me. I saw a sea of familiar locals and friends and met some really wonderful new-to-me people. 😉 Everyone was kind to everyone and greeted each other with smiles. And, so many people pitched in to help us without being asked. I am truly humbled by each of them. I am thankful for every single person who crossed my path today. Truly a blessed day far beyond my imagination. It was a soothing salve to my soul and I am so grateful to my Father in Heaven.
I will admit that it completely wiped me out physically, but I hope to be back in my sewing room soon where I will create new things to share with you. Thank you for your patience.
Good night, and God bless.

So delighted to have the sewing machine back! I've been cutting, pressing, stitching, and pinking. Any guess as to what I'm making?

6 thick washcloths +
14 randomly placed plastic tags = 30 minutes of carefully removing the tags to avoid snagging the material.
Does this seem excessive to anyone else?? 😳 I mean, it's 100% cotton. No precious metals or fine jewels are involved.
Oh, well...2 sets of washcloths (or, 1 hour) to go. 🙃🙂🙃
Have a blessed day, everyone!! 🧡🩵

Thankfully I am blessed with a wonderful husband who enjoys Hobby Lobby and Joann's. My amazing Mother-in-Love took him with her to Cloth World often as a child, so it's a nostalgic experience for him. Thanks, Mom!!!
