Arlene & Tim got to spend some quality time at Mont Rochelle. Tours of Cape Town, and some fine South African wineries before flying up to Kings Camp.

Looks like the first couple games drives have been pretty good. Lions, leopard, elephant, giraffe and so much more.

Glad they shared a few pictures.

Tim and Arlene arrived in South Africa yesterday without any issues. (We were a bit nervous about them flying through Dubai with the unrest in that area.)

Cape Town and Robben Island tours today. Time in Franschhoek tomorrow. Safari’s in the greater Kruger park Timbavati and Sabi Sand reserves start Monday.

20 years, sounds like a long time but, it truly passed in the blink of an eye!

Judy and I married 20 years ago today. What a wonderful life we have shared together. Today we relived something from our honeymoon in Africa, feeding and interacting with elephants. 8,000 miles, and 20 years apart, both of us laughed, and smiled, as much today as the first time in Zimbabwe.

The Myakka elephant ranch was a hit. Feeding, bathing, and interacting with both African and Asian elephants, not a first but definitely another day to remember.

Looks like Joe and Missy had a great time in South Africa. Little more rain than usual led to a couple adventures.

Joe and Missy are heading to South Africa. They are staying at a couple of our favorites, Kings Camp and MalaMala game reserve. All the amenities plus , Big 5 game viewing, wild dogs, and the occasional cheetah.

Solio Lodge, Laikipia Kenya

Solio is a working ranch that happens to be one of the original Rhino sanctuaries in Kenya. Closely guarded by the Kenya Wildlife Service, in the shadow of Mt Kenya, this is a place where rhino live protected from the threat of poaching.

Solio is one of the lodges that we pair with Giraffe Manor. So many things to do, game drives, horse back tours, walks, cultural visits, spa, and of course, fine dining.
