Giving and receiving both carry more weight than we sometimes realize. It’s not just about what is being dropped off or picked up—it’s also about the spirit in which those moments happen. A little patience, kindness, and understanding can turn a simple interaction into something meaningful.

Every place that serves people has some kind of structure or flow to help things run smoothly. Those rhythms aren’t there to make things harder, but to make sure help can keep reaching as many families as possible in a consistent and fair way. When we pause long enough to understand that, the process tends to feel a little lighter for everyone involved.

At the heart of it all, it’s still about people helping people. And that’s something worth protecting.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the opportunity to serve others in both giving and receiving. Help us to walk in patience, humility, and kindness in every interaction. Soften our hearts and remind us to see each other with grace. May this place always be one where love leads the way, and where every exchange reflects Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🤔 Ever wonder what happens to the donations we can't use in our mission?

Not every donation that comes through our doors ends up on our shelves. Sometimes we receive more than we can give away, items may be heavily worn, damaged, or simply out of season.

So what happens to those items?

We partner with Suncoast Textile Recycling to make sure as much as possible stays out of the landfill and gets a second chance. Wearable clothing and shoes are sorted for reuse, while worn-out textiles are recycled into useful products like cleaning cloths, insulation, carpet padding, and more.

This partnership helps:
✅ Reduce waste
✅ Keep textiles out of landfills
✅ Support recycling efforts
✅ Generate additional income to help F.R.O.G. Ministry continue serving our community

Heavenly Father,

Today we lift up every friend, family member, supporter, volunteer, and follower who is part of our F.R.O.G. Ministry family.

Lord, we ask that You cover them with Your peace, protect their homes, strengthen their bodies, calm their minds, and encourage their hearts. For those carrying heavy burdens, remind them they are never alone. For those who are weary, renew their strength. For those who are celebrating victories, let gratitude overflow from their hearts.

Father, open doors that no one can shut, provide where there is need, heal where there is hurt, and restore where there is brokenness. Fill every person reading this with hope, purpose, and a fresh reminder that You are working behind the scenes even when they cannot see it.

As we begin this day, help us choose kindness, spread love, extend grace, and be a light in our community. May every smile, every conversation, and every act of service point others back to You.

Today is a gift. Let’s make it great by loving deeply, serving faithfully, and remembering that even the smallest acts of kindness can change someone’s entire day.
