“Coffee menus are so complicated!?” …
You’re not alone if you’ve ever thought this - we hear it all the time, so we’re here to help!
It’s all just espresso + milk ratios ⚖️
However… over the past few decades, there’s been a lot of confusion stemming from large coffee retailers who have reinterpreted many classic coffee drinks - giving them entirely new meanings and, in the process, confusing a lot of people.
For example: a macchiato, which is traditionally a very small, espresso-forward drink, has been transformed into an any-size beverage, served iced or hot, vanilla caramel latte. Similarly, the cappuccino - once strictly a 6 oz hot drink - is now offered in a wide range of sizes and customizations.
But as a third-wave coffee shop, we treat coffee as a craft, serving drinks as they are traditionally made. We prioritize high-quality beans, lighter roasts, and transparent ethical sourcing.
