A busy Monday morning at RFA Engineering in Iowa. We’re excited to welcome nine new hires who are starting today and will soon be placed on-site with one of our clients. A strong start is important, so our onboarding process is designed to help new team members feel prepared and connected from day one.

We spend time with each new hire introducing them to RFA Engineering’s culture, values, and expectations, while also helping them become familiar with the client organization they will be supporting. This process includes completing onboarding and compliance requirements, reviewing project and workplace expectations, discussing communication and professional development opportunities, and ensuring everyone has the tools and resources they need to be successful.

Investing in a thorough onboarding experience helps set the foundation for long term success for our employees, our clients, and whole team.

As we gather with family and friends, may we take a moment to pause and remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

The Dubuque RFA Office assisted in hosting an engineering challenge at a local school, Kennedy Elementary. The lesson incorporated science, math, and teamwork to complete.
Equipped with RFA calipers, measuring tools, and sketching supplies, students designed contraptions using various materials to protect their eggs from a high fall.
Students also learned about different types of engineering and the importance of STEM in everyday life. We were impressed with the creative builds and how many well-thought-out designs succeeded!

⛳ Dubuque Annual Golf Event at The Meadows! ☀️
This past week, RFA team members and family gathered at The Meadows Golf Course for our annual golf outing — one of our favorite traditions that brings together fun, friendly competition, and some quality time outside the office.
From long drives to near-miss putts, everyone enjoyed a great day on the course. Huge congratulations to this year’s winning team: Cory, Christian, Erika, and Nick — way to swing it! 🏆
