We kicked off our first Camp Sendoff Sunday as 80+ campers headed to Spirit In The Pines, sent with blessings, wonder, and community support.

Meanwhile, Pastor Kristin’s Sunday message centered on Rahab, an unlikely heroine who claimed her worth and showed that God’s story includes everyone.

As our campers step into a week of wonder, we celebrate a God who calls, includes, and works through us all! Registration for camp is open all summer at spiritinthepinescamp.org

You can watch both of our 9:00 and 10:30 AM worship services at standrewlu.org/worship-archive

You can also listen to Pastor Kristin's sermon on our podcast "Faith in Daily Life" wherever you subscribe!

Rahab is given many names, but she names herself worthy. Her quick thinking and declaration of God's power not only change the course of history for the Israelites but also shape Jesus’ family tree. She is an unlikely heroine who opens our eyes to God’s expansive love.

There are many ways to serve our neighbors in the summer months. We are looking for people to help serve Community Meals in Minneapolis and help build a home for Habitat for Humanity.

Stop by our Summer Service Opportunity table in the narthex to learn more or leave your name on an interest list.

Questions? Contact Pastor Kristin Skare at [email protected].

VBS/VBX is just around the corner, and this year our mission project focuses on raising funds for school supplies for children around the world! Once we meet our goal, church leadership will partake in a surprise silly prank on the last day of VBS/VBX! Last year, they were silly-stringed, and the year before, they were pied. What's going to happen this year? Register and find out.

We are calling it the Snowball Mountain School Supply Challenge. Last year’s service project raised over $3,000, and our goal for this year is to raise $4,500. We will evenly divide all funds raised between Forest Hills Elementary (local), Augustana Lutheran Church (state), and Pasquette, Haiti (international).

Is your child registered for VBS yet? There's still time!
