Our colleagues at Bracco Germany had an excellent time this weekend at the symposium “Das Herz im Zentrum”, organized by Herzzentrum Trier. A big thank you to Prof. Dr. Werner and his team for the outstanding organization and a truly well-run event.
The symposium offered a broad, practice-oriented overview of contemporary cardiology, covering cardiovascular prevention, heart failure, rhythm disorders, and interventional as well as imaging-based approaches. Clinical decision making was highlighted through sessions on coronary diagnostics, structural heart disease, and modern heart failure therapies.
One of the highlights was the live cases: several complex interventional cases from daily cath lab practice were performed and discussed in detail providing valuable insights into contemporary cath lab workflows. Many of the cases were supported by ACIST's new contrast management system, 𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗦𝗧 𝗣𝗿𝗼™
With around 200 physicians and approximately 100 nurses in attendance, the workshop created an excellent environment for professional exchange, and we look forward to continuing the conversations that started in Trier.
Thanks as well to Björn Paulus, Daniel Bender and Jochen Walter for the great teamwork behind the scenes!

Last week, our ACIST team participated in National Wear Red Day to raise awareness for cardiovascular disease. The American Heart Association is highlighting women’s heart health this year, as cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death for women in the United States. Nearly half of women over 20 are living with some form of cardiovascular disease, yet many are unaware of the risk.
By joining the Go Red for Women movement, we are helping emphasize the importance of prevention, early action, and supporting heart health. Proud to stand together in raising awareness and advocating for a healthier future!
