Not sure if this guy is still around, but this is the most amazing kite flying I have ever seen !

"The guy flying the 3 kites is in his 80s, and he's from Canada. He comes to the Washington State International Kite Festival every year. His skin is like leather as he normally flies with his shirt off. He is deaf, so when he flies we hold our hands up and wave them for applause. He flies 2 with his hands and the 3rd one is attached to his waist.Turn up the sound & enjoy!
You must watch to the end to see the amazing landing of that last kite! "

Our new store in Eastpoint has power & is in great shape.
We hope to be able to start shipping orders again today & tomorrow.
And still plan to be open by July 4th.

Its always the "no name" "non-hurricanes" that do the most damage...
About 7:45 am Sunday power went out on the island, they declared a "state of emergency" & closed the bridge ...
By late Sun afternoon they did a mandatory evacuation so at least they let us over the bridge to get off the island.

The bridges to SGI & Apalachicola were both closed most of the day.
And electric in Apalach has been off & on.

The wind, rain & high water has been endless, but finally seems to be letting up.
Rainfall total so far is 13-15".

They are saying it will probably be July 9th before the power is restored to the island & the bridge is still closed with the island still under evacuation orders with a curfew.
