The amount of request is at an all time high.

Adoptions and donations 🧡

When adoptions are scarce, our community areas and kennel bank stays FULL

If they are full- there is no where to place cats.

Rescue needs to be a revolving door 🚪 and unfortunately we are at a stand still...

Cats like these suffer the most 💔

Bandit update:

His follow-up on Wednesday did not show improvement, but there was a 2-point decline for anemia. We need his numbers 👆not to be trending downward.

His steroid dose was increased and doxycycline was added. His vein collapsed during the blood draw because he was dehydrated. Bandit is not eating or drinking well because he feels so unwell 😿.

We are just over $450 in vet care, with more to come this week, including another blood draw. He also needs an appetite stimulant and fluids to stay hydrated.

Thanks to Dr. Sam and vet tech Isabelle, we did a quick training session on administering fluids. This is an excellent tool to help save on vet costs for Bandit and future fluffy tails.
