Today, we celebrate freedom, resilience and progress. Juneteenth officially marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in the United States received news of their freedom. As we prepare to celebrate America’s 250th birthday next month, it takes on added significance as the day when the aspirational promises of "all men are created equal" and “liberty and justice for all” finally rang true.

The New York City Mikimoto flagship store offers lustrous pearl jewelry designed with artistic inspiration from the sea. Custom RGBW Series 2 RibbonLyte fixtures from Acolyte highlight centerpiece 16-ft marble pillars in the gorgeous showroom, and the stunning entry features matching fixtures with milky lenses that frame the inviting Fifth Avenue facade.

The North American offices of GENLED Brands will close Friday, May 22, at 3 p.m. EST and remain closed Monday, May 25, in honor of Memorial Day. In addition, the European offices will close in celebration of Whit Monday. Both will reopen Tuesday, May 26.

The Pillars is a 15,000–square-foot retail and community hub in downtown Newark, N.J. Developed by Audible, the experiential center features several local businesses, community spaces and Audible listening booths. The main hall includes a sound-activated light sculpture commissioned by Audible and designed by Studio RRD. The project features PC2 linear fixtures from Acolyte, populated with Pixel RibbonLyte. Sound triggers control the display through SPI controls. Audible’s got what everyone’s listening to – and Acolyte lights it up!
