This is so exciting! Go City of East Ridge!
📢 Press Release 📢
Groundbreaking for East Ridge Town Center Scheduled for November 15th
(November 7, 2024) – East Ridge City Officials are excited to invite the public to join them at the groundbreaking ceremony for the City’s highly anticipated town-center complex. The ceremony will be held at 1501 Tombras Avenue on Friday, November 15th, beginning at 1:30pm.
Located behind City Hall and the East Ridge Community Center (next to the former McBrien Elementary School), the future town-center complex is designed to be a versatile space for all kinds of community events – from farmer’s markets and craft shows to wedding venues, birthday parties and everything in between.
The multi-purpose 12,000 square foot facility will include 7,072 square feet of event space. Boasting 20-foot ceilings, the event space will have glass doors that can be opened when weather conditions allow. Two smaller multi-purpose rooms, a catering kitchen, outdoor entertainment space, and indoor public restrooms are also included in the plans.
This groundbreaking continues an exciting journey, as we break ground not just on a
new building, but continuing the vision for the future of our community,” said East
Ridge Mayor Brian Williams. “This pavilion will be a place for gathering, learning, and
celebrating together—a space that will serve generations to come. Together, we are laying the foundation for new memories and endless possibilities.”
Estimated timeline for completion of the facility is expected to be one year. With all the possibilities the facility has to offer, the new town-center complex will soon become the hub of East Ridge.
