I just thought I would let you know that this will be my last month at Mercantile at the Ridge. My only purpose was just the pure excitement of providing unique and pretty little things to make your house a home, a cozy and inviting space that you and your family would love to be in. This saddens me because I'm not sure at this time what the future holds for my little business, if any, and I know I will miss it. Unfortunately, just like with anything else in life, I didn't have any control over other people or any of their actions/decisions. I truly do appreciate you and I have felt very grateful that you took the time out of your day to visit my little shoppe. Please continue to follow our page for updates, we will try to find a suitable home where honesty and fairness still exist.

Our Story...
We would like to introduce ourselves and our passion to make one-of-a-kind pieces for your home that can be handed down from generation to generation. We are Julie, Blake & Chris and we are Belle Patine.
We offer a wide variety of pieces ranging from furniture to home décor to repurposed items that can be used for many things. Our finished items are a mix of French Country, French Provincial and even Rustic with a little bit of Industrial/Steampunk thrown in for flavor. Each piece is chosen with a vision in mind. We do all of the rebuilding, refinishing, painting and acid washing in Dayton, Tn. We want each piece that we create to find the perfect home to reflect all of the attention to detail and uniqueness that was put into it. We’ve found that furniture pieces from long ago have a time worthy style that can be used yesterday, today and long into the future. While realizing that, we like to add a twist of the unexpected to our pieces making each one a treasure and one of a kind for your home.
We like to consider color, texture and usefulness in all of our pieces. The intent is not just to have something pretty to look at, but to have a beautiful and useful piece that the whole family can enjoy. We use Jolie Chalk Paint, General Finishes Stains and Sealers, and Wise Owl Sealers. All of paint and finish work is all done by hand. One of our most recent finishes are the Acid Washed Mirrors with integrated Art...somewhat hard to describe in words, you just have to see them.
We are always happy to find pieces that you might need or if you already have a piece of furniture, we can refinish them to exactly how you may want them. We pride ourselves in providing many different pieces for all kinds of tastes. Please come by and visit us and begin your journey with us.
