WHERE DO I FIND LOCAL CATHOLIC NEWS NOW?
With the Oct. 1 closure of the Catholic Sentinel as well as its website, western Oregon Catholics will need to look elsewhere for local church news.

The Archdiocese of Portland issues a regular email newsletter called Parish Link. It focuses largely on archdiocesan announcements from the Archdiocese of Portland Pastoral Center. Mater Dei Radio keeps an eye and an ear on local Catholic happenings, particularly the Morning Blend show with David Endres and Brenda Aikin, which airs 7 – 9 a.m. on 88.3 FM in Portland, Vancouver and Salem; 94.9 and 100.5 in Eugene, Springfield and Cottage Grove. Shows and news also are available at materdeiradio.com and on the free Hail Mary Media app.
