Congrats to our President Damon Edwards who competed on the Area 15 International Speech Contest on Saturday. He pulled together a DYNAMIC speech with only 2 hours to prepare after news that the 1st place candidate couldn't compete. He placed 2nd and will be on standby should the 1st place contestant back out. He represented Thrive Toastmasters to the fullest!!

OMG... let me tell yall, we had an awesome open house last night at Thrive Toastmasters!! I was so engrossed in the meeting that I didn't get many pics so here are a few.
-We had 19 people in attendance. Our theme was "From the Heart" and our President gave us some great table topics questions.
-There were 3 dynamic speeches, including Toastmaster Donovan Grice from North Metro Toastmasters who brought the room to its feet with his awesome story of triumph and determination.
- One of our guests was 2020 Georgia State Sentate candidate Devin Devin Barrington Ward drop by to say hello and see what Thrive Toastmasters was all about.
-Oh did I mention we even got 2 new members who joined on the spot? Yesterday was a good day.
