Great news! Michigan’s utility energy efficiency programs ranked No. 1 in the nation, highlighting how utility energy waste reduction efforts in the Great Lakes State are helping lower customer bills by reducing unnecessary energy use.

We're proud of this: Michigan ranked No. 1 in the nation in the utility energy efficiency programs category of American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy’s 2025 State Energy Efficiency Scorecard. These programs and policies save customers money by reducing unnecessary energy use.

The Great Lakes Business Network presents an educational webinar outlining federal incentives for rural small businesses owners and agricultural producers to access renewable energy installations and energy efficiency measures stemming from the Renewable Energy for America Program (REAP). Leading government experts will discuss available funds to reduce costs associated with more sustainable operations and outline who qualifies. Guest business leaders will help provide real-world insights into their experience utilizing REAP funds for their business operations.

ETIPP assists coastal, remote, and island communities in improving their energy resilience. The program provides access to a network of energy transition experts and national laboratory analysts who help identify and implement energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions.
