New lighting unlocked 🔐🔓in our newest video of Daijana’s Wallace’s piece for duo sax and loop pedal, “…can you see me?” 🌿🦜💚🍏 Working on pieces with loop pedal is always a fun time for both our chops and the pro whistlers out there (who did it better, Jacob or Walter in The Muppets movie 2011?). Click the link below to hear some pro whistling and the occasional sax duo too!

Who needs your nana’s famous pumpkin pie when we have a new treat for you one day before thanksgiving??? Places We Can No Longer Go, by our very own Jacob Nance, is now out on YouTube. Go check it out at this little link: https://youtu.be/7my1KBVnTDY?si=Y9zRbIBBIi_WQmnF
P.S. don’t tell nana we compared her pumpkin pie because we still want to get a slice tomorrow
Moira by David Biedenbender! We love this piece SO much and hope you do too 🫶 Maybe it’s just us but when we play this piece it gives off strong Percy Jackson energy. Epic tale? ✅ Zeus coming down from the sky as Jacob gives everything he’s got in an overtone scan? ✅ Check out the full video in our bio and let us know if you agree…
Special thanks to Moira Saxophone Duo for running the commission for this and 2 other super cool bari duos! ✨✨✨

🗣️♀️BIG Talk by Shelley Washington out now!♀️🗣️
We worked so hard to bring this to life and hope you can hear the message through your screens (and also the killer bari lines…hello we were very sweaty). Full video linked below!
A note from Natalia–”What is female rage? Thinking of how to best portray Washington's words and music as a reflection of my own experiences, this idea kept coming back. To me, this piece and this term are a rebellion against the constant harassment that women face--they represent the screaming, the fighting, and the anger that society never wishes to see from female-identifying people. The clothes worn in this video were chosen to encompass this rage, as well as the two characters heard in Washington's piece. The pink--a typically ‘girlish’ color, worn from head to toe while we play the most vicious, raucous, and violent music. The black and white--a stereotypically ‘masculine’ outfit worn while playing light excerpts marked "dainty". In the pink, I felt most free to tap into this inner female rage. I hope you'll feel the same while listening to our rendition of BIG Talk."
