We love attending East Lansing Public School’s mental health & wellness summit every year (parents, we know you might love our make-your-own-slime table a little less 🙃)! So cool to see an outpouring of support for mental wellness and getting to touch base with other wonderful groups, and agencies that provide mental health resources for kids and families in our community.

Rooted counselors Georgiann Hess, Becky Weinberg, Sarah Moss, and Anna Anderson had a wonderful time meeting families and handing out maternal mental health-focused resources and gifts at Northstar Doulas Annual Community Baby Shower, serving BIPOC expectant families in Ingham County. We are SO grateful for the amazing work and advocacy provide in our community!

20 tattoos and over $2500 raised for A Place for Us - an LGBTQIA+-affirming shelter in Lansing. This community is amazing and we’re so glad we get to be a part of it. ❤️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
