Since our announcement on May 8th about the closure of EuropeanDeli.com, we have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support. Your calls, emails, and heartfelt notes have truly touched us—our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

I’ve been on this journey for 30 years, and it has been nothing short of incredible. As we prepare to close our doors tonight, we want to thank you—from the bottom of our hearts—for being not only our customers but our friends. Thank you for trusting us with your selections, and for allowing us to be part of your celebrations and gift-giving for family and friends.

We are currently in conversations with a couple of companies regarding our mailing list, web domains, and the potential continuation of importing Lebkuchen Schmidt. As soon as we have any concrete updates, I will personally reach out to you.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Europeandeli.com, effective May 30, due to ongoing economic challenges that have made it unsustainable to continue our operations. Additionally, a major change in the terms with a supplier agreement has further impacted our ability to serve you as we always have.

This journey has been nothing short of incredible. Whether you’ve been with us since the days of German Food Specialties and Mostly Chocolate, and transitioned to Europeandeli.com or discovered us more recently your support, trust, and loyalty over the years have meant everything to us.

As we prepare to close our doors, we sincerely ask for your help in depleting our inventory. We are holding a major closing sale with deep discounts on all products through May 22. It’s our final thank-you and a chance for you to enjoy the specialties you've come to love one last time.
