Happy National Library Workers Day! Please thank a library worker.

The EBPL-CWA bargaining committee met with the NJ PERC mediator, and after months of little movement, the mediator thinks that we can make progress and move forward on a first contract for part-time and full-time library workers.

Our next session is in August, so thank you for all of our support. We are hopeful.

On Wednesdays, we wear red! Well, at least this coming Wednesday, June 26, we are to support our goal of a fair contract. If you are coming by, or want to support wherever you are, please wear red as well!

We have good news—PERC has assigned us a mediator, so negotiations are back on!
