Our prayers and condolences to Officer Hare’s family and friends. He sacrificed his life to save another human. Thank you for your service to our community you will be sorely missed but we can find peace knowing he is home with our Lord 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

The law enforcement community in South Carolina has been hit tremendously hard in the last two weeks. Greenwood County Sheriff's Office lost a beloved victim advocate. During that same time two of their families at GCSO lost infant children. Newberry Police Department Lt. Michael Wood was killed in the line of duty and just laid to rest Monday. A Colleton County Sheriff's Office detective lost his 3 year old child in a motor vehicle crash. Yesterday, a Charleston County Sheriff's Office pilot was injured in a helicopter crash. Early this morning, Easley Police Department lost an officer in the line of duty. I say all of this to ask you to please cover our law enforcement officers and their families in your prayers daily. This amount of loss is unimaginable. God bless all of those behind the badge.
