If you have been following us since we moved to our new property 4 years ago then you know we have worked hard to grow more nutritious forages for our animals. Most of this work has been done by hand and this new stand of fescue that has sprouted is the culmination of many hours of work for our family!

Drop-in on the farm Saturday morning for a tour of how we grow delicious, nutrient dense foods. We will also have pasture raised chicken, pork, eggs and plants available for purchase.

Planting has started in the garden! The weather here in SC was beautiful this weekend. With the longer days we’ve been lingering longer outside.

The first round of baby chicks arrived this past week! They are all settled in and loving the warmer temps the past couple days. This weekend Noah brought the excavator home to clear more brush and overgrown areas on the farm. We had a big burn pile that ended with a camp out!

New baby pigs arrived at the farm today! I think pigs are our favorite animal to raise. The greenhouse is starting to pop with color. Lettuce and kale mix coming in, as well as turnips and radishes!

It’s cold outside, but these boys love being in the greenhouse where it’s warm! They are becoming expert spinach pickers this winter.
