Today we celebrate Sgt. John Parsons and his Alive Day.
On December 16, 2010, John was shot in the line of duty and he SURVIVED!
That night, officers were serving a fugitive arrest warrant when the shooting happened.
The events of that day have always been referred to as “The Miracle on 4th Street”.
John miraculously survived and recovered, and we are proud that he is still serving his community as a Nampa Police Officer. John is currently a patrol sergeant, member of our Tactical Response Team and mentor to many.
Help us congratulate John on his Alive Day!
