let’s have a half day together in NYC where I experience vegan French food at Délice & Sarrasin Restaurant including baked brie, escargot, foie gras, and opera cake because why would I not order everything I can’t imagine being veganized, and then also visit the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center (I love that it’s free admission!), hit up BGSQD for gay books, ate a donut, and traipsed all around

let’s get some affordable groceries at Food Lion so we can make affordable meals this weekend, like sweet potato bean and TVP chili, fennel braised chickpeas on pasta, and bean salad with tomatoes, avocado, and corn

miss Kali is back in the saddle with her dissertation on human sustenance and meanwhile I’m back in the saddle with cooking food I’ve never tried before, this time ayikple from Afia Amoako PhD cookbook, plus a tasty little treat from Break Free Candy to end my night 😮‍💨

I’m a food influencer and sometimes that means influencing you to eat your freezer beans and cook a wrinkly zucchini you found in your produce drawer because you already paid for it

I’m back! It’s Too Much Food Tuesday! I managed to contribute a few items thanks to easy The Not Company US 🇺🇸 Mac and cheese and pi00a | “pie-oh-ah” | frozen neapolitan pizzas 🍕 and also the potluck spread overall was amazing 🤩

made a last stop in the Chicago vegan dining scene at Handlebar where I had the most amazing chimichanga and a hunk of nutter butter cake from Pie, Pie My Darling || Chicago and then I flew home

let’s tour Chicago architecture and vegan food on our quick little day trip to the city, featuring a stop at the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust home and studio tour, brunch at The Chicago Diner and dinner at PLANTA, a little walking bagel for our journey, a river architecture tour, and a cute overnight at The Carleton!

here’s what I ate and did across Michigan City, Indiana for my friend’s wedding! not the most vegan-friendly town in the world, but I enjoyed my coffees at Lakeshore Cafe’ and FLUID Coffee Roasters coffee shops, reading the local paper, visiting Lubeznik Center for the Arts for a fun exhibition, and of course dancing and having a blast at my friends wedding :)
