Every pilgrimage, participants have the opportunity to hear directly from Virginia Williams - one of the seven Durham residents arrested in 1957 for sitting in the whites-only section of the Royal Ice Cream Parlor. We're grateful for her story and the many people like her who have made Durham who we are.

Level Community Partnership for Racial Justice are hosting a six-week Fall Book Study on Raphael Warnock's The Crooked Places Made Straight: Reflections on the Moral Meaning of America - a book examining voting rights, gun violence, mass incarceration, poverty, and more through the lens of faith and justice.
