Duke Pediatric Echo Lab

Yesterday was dog therapy day for us.
We had Lizzy come and help us with our patients and did great keeping wiggly kids calm.
Met Petunia who was at the hospital for employee dog therapy.
And our own Tracy brought her dog, PJ, to the lab after his shift of seeing patients on the pediatric floors!
If you get the chance to see one of the pups either in the lab or floor make sure you get a doggy business card/baseball card.

So happy we have a place for families to take a break again!

Yesterday Duke Women's Basketball came for a visit! They visited patients and departments to learn and see what we do everyday!
Riley Nelson, Arianna Roberson and Anna Wikstrøm joined us in the echo lab. Dr Williams and Tracy taught them about echo and Dr Wright was a great model for the ladies to scan! They could be great future sonographers!!

Some great heart kiddos will be talking today!

Come bring your kiddos and their favorite animal (or get a new one there) to have them checked out by professionals!!
