Back-to-school season can mean packed schedules and unexpected calls from the school📞

If your child gets sick and you need to leave work, Emergency Ride Home can get you home for free. Your ride can even include a stop at the school, daycare or pharmacy.

To qualify, you must:
- Be a part-time or full-time employee
- Live or work in Durham, Orange or Wake counties
- Take transit, carpool or vanpool to work that day

📍 A new connection in Downtown Raleigh
Starting February 2027, Route DRX could stop near GoRaleigh Station on every trip, making it easier to connect to GoRaleigh routes and other destinations. 🌇

The route will also use the same loop on the Durham end of all trips. To achieve this change, service would be removed at the Chapel Dr at Duke University Dr stops. Riders may use Duke Transit or GoDurham Route 6 to access this area.
